Recently, 8th grade scholar Amari Centeno turned compassion into action by hosting a powerful Bullying and Suicide Awareness Runway Show. Through fashion, interviews with designers and speakers, and her own moving words, Amari created a space for healing, connection, and awareness around mental health.
Quoting Phil McGraw, she reminded us all that "awareness without action is worthless," and she truly led by example — using her voice and platform to support the Forever 13 cause and those who may feel unseen or unheard.
In Amari’s own words: “You are unique, you are enough, and you are beautiful.”
We’re so proud of her leadership, empathy, and courage. The Hive is cheering you on, Amari!
